Before enrolling in the Work at Height & Rescue Awareness Programme, participants should meet the following requirements:
Must be physically fit and free from medical conditions that may affect their ability to work at height.
Basic understanding of workplace safety principles is recommended.
Comfortable with using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and helmets.
No prior experience in working at height is necessary, but a safety-conscious attitude is essential.
This programme is designed for individuals and professionals who are required to work at height as part of their job responsibilities, including:
Construction and maintenance workers
Telecommunications and utility personnel
Emergency responders and rescue teams
Safety officers and supervisors
Any personnel involved in high-risk environments where fall protection is essential
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will:
Understand the hazards and risks associated with working at height.
Learn about regulatory and legal requirements for working safely at height.
Gain knowledge of different fall protection systems and equipment.
Develop skills in risk assessment and hazard identification for work at height.
Learn the fundamentals of rescue planning and emergency response procedures.
