Pre-Requisites

    Before engaging in any work on fragile roofs, participants should meet the following requirements:

    • A basic understanding of workplace safety and hazard awareness.

    • Completion of general working-at-height training.

    • Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) and its proper usage.

    • Awareness of site-specific risk assessments and control measures.

    • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures related to fragile roof work.

Target Participants

This training is designed for individuals who are required to access and work on fragile roofs, including:

  • Roofing contractors and maintenance workers.

  • Construction professionals handling roofing projects.

  • Facility and building maintenance personnel.

  • Health and safety officers responsible for overseeing work-at-height operations.

  • Any workers involved in the inspection, repair, or installation of fragile roof components.
